A, anode material classification  

Among the four materials of lithium battery, the cathode material technology is the most mature, and the graphite cathode material is the current mainstream.  Natural graphite anode material is made of natural flake crystalline graphite, after crushing, spheroidizing, grading, purification, surface and other processes processing system, its high crystallinity is formed naturally.  Due to the high surface active point of natural flake crystalline graphite, it can not be used as anode material directly, so surface modification is needed.  Artificial graphite anode material is the petroleum coke, needle coke, asphalt coke calcined at a certain temperature, and then by grinding, grading, high temperature graphitization made, its high crystallinity is formed through high temperature graphitization.  

B. Analysis of the current production situation of China's anode material industry  

From the perspective of the shipment of cathode materials in China in recent years, the shipment of cathode materials in China has been increasing year by year from 2016 to 2020. By 2020, the shipment of cathode materials has been 365,000 tons, with a year-on-year growth of 37.74%.  Among them, the shipment of China's man-made graphite in 2020 was 307,000 tons, with a year-on-year growth of 47.6%.
